By filling my work with nostalgic images of bygone days, I have tried to capture the art of collage as no other artist has.With this as my focus, I have been able to gain respect as a nationally recognized paper artist. The techniques and media in which I work include rubber stamps, paper sculpture, calligraphy, water color, and trompe l'oeil. My degrees are in both art and education: an undergraduate degree in art from the University of California at Los Angeles and a master's degree in education from the University of Southern California. Often, my artwork and articles appear in national magazines and craft books, and products of my design are featured for sale worldwide. I have happily received high praise as a teacher, designer, workshop leader and demonstrator while working in the paper arts for twenty years. Keeping my style unique is a primary goal. It is constantly evolving across a broad range of images within themes that include travel, fine art, romance, vintage women, floral and Asian. Elegance, romantic opulence, and close attention to detail are the common threads that I weave through my work.
